Mission and Purpose Northeast Economic Development, Inc. (NED, Inc.) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). NED, Inc.’s mission is to assist in the community and economic stability of northeast Nebraska thus enhancing employment and housing opportunities and public works of the region. The corporation’s specific purpose is to engage in charitable, scientific and educational activities that identify and address economic problems and opportunities in northeast Nebraska.
